As a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, access points, and the surrounding property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor authorization as directed, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and coordinating with emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
