As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access control activities. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs accurately and in accordance with site requirements.
