Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with established airport and government-site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with incident documentation.
Maintain detailed activity logs and written reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support coordination with airport operations and public-service agencies as directed.
