You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control site access, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and support access-control requirements.
  • Document incidents, observations, and access-control activities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal reporting procedures.
