Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to residents and guests. In this role, you will support a welcoming community through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach that puts people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a residential location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout apartment buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential property concerns.
Monitor entrances, amenities, and other assigned areas to help support community rules, report maintenance or security-related issues, and/or assist with resident and visitor inquiries.
Complete routine reports and activity logs, noting incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
