Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff with a caring, people-first approach while working as part of a reliable team that values agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and/or common spaces to help to support orderly operations, observe visitor activity, and document security-related concerns.
  • Assist with security-related reporting, incident documentation, and/or follow-up communication regarding policy concerns, suspicious behavior, or requests for assistance.
