Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and/or visitor records.
• Observe facility operations and report hazards, suspicious activity, damaged property, and other security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
