Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while working as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or service providers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, parking areas, amenities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in required reports.
  • Support a professional residential environment by providing directions, assisting with authorized access, and communicating respectfully with residents, guests, and property staff.
