Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting residents, guests, tenants, and/or vendors with security-related questions and requests.
  • Monitor lobby activity, review access points and cameras as assigned, and help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining awareness of people entering and leaving the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Maintain logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support daily operations in a commercial real estate residential location by answering phones, directing visitors, verifying credentials, and helping to follow emergency response procedures when appropriate.
