Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor processing, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage access points, and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, credentials, and/or visitor information in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and front desk records related to security-related activities, deliveries, visitor check-ins, and/or unusual incidents.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support day-to-day front desk operations while helping to uphold location rules, procedures, and professional standards.
