You will monitor access, respond to security-related concerns, support alarm and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have experience using alarm panels, preferred.
  • Have experience with access control and badge systems, preferred.
  • Possess a guard card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor the front desk and lobby area, greet and direct visitors, verify authorization as required, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, member concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Observe activity at entry points and within assigned public-facing areas, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Communicate professionally with branch personnel, members, and visitors while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.
