As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will stay highly visible, respond to reports, support access control, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site leaders. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, fire-related conditions, and disputes, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points and control entry for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, including checking credentials, verifying appointments, and directing traffic to designated docks and staging areas.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and assist with coordination of law enforcement, fire department, and/or emergency medical services when requested.
