As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Have Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years.
  • Be 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site contacts and/or public resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor processes, verify authorization as required by post orders, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
