Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, where your visible presence and routine patrols help support a secure environment. You will monitor assigned areas, check doors and access points, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and incident reporting requirements at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical calls, disturbances, and suspicious activity, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
- Monitor access points by verifying identification, controlling entry and exit, screening visitors, and maintaining accurate logs for personnel, deliveries, and vehicle traffic.
- Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, traffic control, and post-incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication.
