As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail shopping location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, corridors, and exterior perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or local public responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe guest activity to help maintain order, support store personnel, and address loitering, disturbances, and other policy violations.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate notable activity to supervisors and/or client representatives, and support Allied Universal protocols during shift transitions.
