As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol docks, entrances, yards, and interior areas, helping to identify and report security-related concerns. You will complete routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and site personnel. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the building, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry for employees, contractors, and visitors, including verifying identification, directing traffic flow, and maintaining sign-in and/or key control logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting suspicious activity, supporting medical response, and coordinating with site leadership and/or local authorities when required.
• Complete daily reports and incident documentation, communicate conditions to the next shift, and follow Allied Universal and client post orders for notifications and escalation.
