Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
