Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will complete routine patrols, respond to site needs with agility and integrity, and contribute to a caring, team-driven environment focused on people first.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Support healthcare location operations by following post orders, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinating with local leadership and/or first responders during urgent events.
