Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, as assigned.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential risks that could impact customers, staff, merchandise, or property, and help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and prompt reporting.
Support retail operations by assisting with access control, opening and closing procedures, crowd monitoring during busy periods, and customer-facing security-related assistance as needed.
