As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs for an aerospace and defense administrative location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Report unusual conditions, access-control issues, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management in accordance with established procedures.
