As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Relief in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. In a caring, team-driven culture, you will bring reliability, agility, and integrity to each shift while helping create a welcoming environment. This is a Part Time position with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directional support, and other security-related duties that support daily operations in a medical environment.
  • Assist with de-escalation efforts, follow post orders, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
