Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and building conditions to help support authorized access, report maintenance-related issues, and/or address policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while remaining visible and approachable to help support daily operations at the location.
