As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will assist with access control, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government service center.
Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as required, and direct individuals to appropriate public service areas in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
