Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and assist with visitor direction and wayfinding in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
