Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting dynamic healthcare and commercial real estate locations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Working with agility, reliability, and integrity, you will contribute to a caring, team-focused environment while helping create a welcoming experience for staff, visitors, and tenants.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with location protocols.
  • Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and/or maintenance or life support concerns observed during the shift, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
