Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, teamwork, and integrity while bringing agility, reliability, and innovation to each shift.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe public areas, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site expectations.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and share updates with Allied Universal leaders and/or authorized site representatives.
