As a driving unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct mobile and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with store teams and law enforcement when needed. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail store and surrounding property.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, alarms, and reports of suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, stock areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter security-related incidents and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for potential security-related issues, coordinating with store management and/or law enforcement when needed.
Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
