As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will spend much of your shift driving assigned routes while completing routine patrols and security-related checks. You will remain highly visible to help discourage incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Bring your valid driver’s license and a service-first mindset as you support an agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and direct deliveries, contractors, and employees according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services and assisting with crowd and/or traffic flow as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
