As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine foot and vehicle patrols, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document activity, assist with access control and/or visitor needs, and communicate clearly with on-site teams. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and industrial traffic flow as assigned, documenting unusual conditions and/or policy violations and reporting them promptly.
- Complete required reports and activity logs, including incident details, patrol observations, and shift handoff information.
