As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a leading tech and communications location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will deliver customer-focused service, support site teams, and represent our agile, reliable, innovative culture grounded in teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license in the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • State, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor cameras, entry points, and assigned systems to identify unusual activity and report concerns through the proper channels.
  • Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity records, and communicate updates during shift turnover.
