As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a leading tech and communications location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will deliver customer-focused service, support site teams, and represent our agile, reliable, innovative culture grounded in teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
State, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor cameras, entry points, and assigned systems to identify unusual activity and report concerns through the proper channels.
Complete routine documentation such as shift logs, incident reports, and patrol activity records, and communicate updates during shift turnover.
