As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring alarms, and documenting security-related activity. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the food and beverage facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and following entry and exit protocols.
  • Screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access-control concerns, and conditions requiring attention.
