As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter incidents through a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the industrial facility, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
  • Monitor entrances, visitors, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately while helping to deter unauthorized access and potential security-related concerns.
