Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a property environment. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist with access control and incident response, and document observations with clear reports. You will also deliver excellent customer service while communicating professionally with site contacts and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including interior and exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and complete accurate documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports.
  • Support access control as assigned by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
