Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Security experience of at least 6 months is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and general support while following location protocols for authorized entry and/or after-hours access.
• Support campus operations during events, class hours, and opening and closing activities by remaining visible, communicating professionally, and helping to address security-related issues as they arise.
