Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include vehicle patrols, customer service, and clear communication. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and critical access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, policy concerns, and/or operational issues in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support incident reporting, visitor management, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.
