You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access control activity, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems as assigned, documenting observations and promptly communicating unusual conditions through the appropriate channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions, coordinating with on-site contacts, and/or contacting public responders when required.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, maintaining visitor logs as assigned, and completing reports and shift documentation per Allied Universal standards.
