Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver standout customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical situations, and requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading and service corridors, and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to site leadership and/or local authorities as required.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
