Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial office location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior, and/or support lobby and entry operations as directed by site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
