Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
