Requirements

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
