As an Allied Universal Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, unusual activity, or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors to verify credentials and provide assistance as needed.
Follow all site-specific instructions and guidelines as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
