Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as a Screener, where you will help support smooth operations by greeting drivers and team members, verifying credentials, screening visitors and deliveries, and documenting activity at key entry points. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and report security-related concerns with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries for authorized access, following post orders for identification checks, badge verification, and inspection processes.
  • Monitor entrances, screening points, and surrounding areas for unusual activity and help to deter policy violations, escalating concerns through the chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as directed by post orders, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
