Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a front desk in a healthcare location by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and visitor management protocols.
• Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and staff; verify identification and appointments as required; issue visitor credentials; and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor logs and other required documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate support resources.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly reception area while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional experience for all individuals entering the location.
