Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations through appropriate channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
Assist with access control, customer and employee inquiries, and documentation of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
