Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, crew members, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a cruise operations location.
  • Screen individuals, carry-on items, baggage, and/or supplies in accordance with established screening procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Verify credentials, access authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned terminal, boarding, baggage, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
