You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific protocols, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
