Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity to help support controlled access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to restricted areas, access points, and other sensitive operational spaces.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activity, incidents, and access-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders.
