Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
Control entry and exit of personnel, contractors, and vehicles to help deter unauthorized access to the facility, yard, and restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, perimeter, parking areas, and distribution operations, documenting security-related observations and irregularities.
