Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify identification and credentials, issue badges, and document entries, exits, and deliveries. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible security-related presence that helps to discourage incidents, while communicating clearly with site leaders and responding to questions with a customer-service mindset. You will succeed through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing traffic to designated areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems when assigned, and report irregular activity and/or policy violations per site procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including gates, parking areas, and perimeter lines, and complete routine security-related reports and documentation.
