About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Spokane, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and assisting with security-related concerns at the location.
Verify credentials, process visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, access point issues, and other security-related observations.
Support daily operations by maintaining accurate activity logs, documenting incidents, and following post orders and client-directed protocols for industrial and manufacturing environments.
