Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to support a smooth flow of visitors, employees, and deliveries. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative values through teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and security-related policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and permissions, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors and/or site contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential security-related issues.
  • Support delivery and contractor access procedures by checking identification, maintaining accurate logs, and following site instructions for inbound and outbound traffic at designated access points.
